Set up your family safe word

A safe word is a short phrase only your family knows. It's the tiebreaker for the scariest scam — the late-night "it's me, I'm in trouble, send money right now" call.

• If a caller claims to be family in an emergency, the real person can be asked for the safe word. A scammer won't know it.
• Set or change it in the app under your family settings.
• Pick something memorable but not guessable (not a pet's name or a birthday), and share it out loud — never in a text or email.

If an emergency call can't be verified, it goes to a person in your family to decide — never to the AI alone.
